Portal Reports
This article will walk you through accessing, filtering, and understanding the different report categories in the Tough Commerce Portal.
The Reports page pulls live data directly from your Dashboard, giving you a clear picture of operational performance, trends, and productivity. It’s designed to help you make informed decisions, spot inefficiencies, and track data at a glance.
Accessing the Portal
From your Dashboard, navigate to the "Portal" tab from the left-hand panel.
The Portal will open in a separate window. Click on the "Reports" tab in the left-hand panel (graph icon).
Applying Filters
At the top of the page, you can apply filters to refine your data:
-

-

-

-

-

Tip: Always set your date range first. By default, it’s today’s date. Adjust this to ensure your reports reflect the correct timeframe. Filtering ensures you’re looking at accurate and relevant data.
How to Interpret the Data
At the top of the Reports page, there are three tabs that display different sets of data based on your operations:
-
Bulk Materials – Best for tracking material movement and delivery performance. Use it to see how much of each material was delivered, which products move the most, and how efficiently your team is operating.
-
Pumping / Service – Focuses on service-based operations like pumping jobs or equipment use. Ideal for understanding operator productivity, resource allocation, and service demand patterns.
-
Finance – Highlights your financial health. Use these reports to monitor sales trends, payment status, and outstanding balances, helping you identify profitable areas and address overdue accounts quickly.
By starting with the right category, you can drill down into more detailed charts and summaries that answer specific business questions.
Understanding the Report Tabs
Each main category contains specialized views to help you break down the data further. Common sections include:
-
Totals – Overall performance for your selected period.
-
Averages – Average performance measures.
-
Daily Averages – Trends over time on a daily basis.
-
Operators – Metrics by individual driver or operator.
-
Products – Performance by product or material type.
-
Heat Maps – Location-based visual insights.
-
Summary – High-level snapshot of key figures.
Downloading Reports
Most reports and data sets include a menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner.
From this menu, you can download the report as a PDF, CSV file, or image—making it easy to save, share, or analyze your data offline.
For table-based data, you’ll also see additional tools: the cog icon lets you hide or display columns, the filter icon lets you apply specific filters directly to the table, and the download icon allows you to export the data as a PDF, CSV, or XLSX file.
