Portal Overview
This article will walk you through the Portal homepage and its key features for monitoring and reporting.
The Tough Commerce Portal is your reporting hub designed to help you monitor operations, track performance, and generate insights based on the data from your TC Dashboard.
While your Dashboard is where you create and manage orders in real time, the Portal focuses on reporting and analytics, giving you a clear view of activity, trends, and upcoming work.
Accessing the Portal
From your Dashboard, navigate to the "Portal" tab from the left-hand panel.
The Portal will open in a separate window, with the Live page (house icon in the left-hand panel) displayed by default.
At the top of the Portal home page, there are four tabs that display different sets of data based on your operations:
1. Live
The Live tab gives you a real-time snapshot of your operations for the current day, with the date displayed at the top.
At the center of the page, you’ll see a workload bar showing the total hours (or other unit of measure) scheduled for the whole day, with the bar being filled in as the day progresses.
Below this, you’ll find a timeline of all jobs scheduled for the day, broken down by: Not started, On the way, On-site, Returning, and Delivered. Each entry shows:

Linked contractor

Assigned driver (if applicable)

Scheduled time
-
On-site hours (or equivalent measure)
- Total amount being delivered
2. Schedule
The Schedule tab lists all orders currently in the system for the current day. You can filter by:

Status – Use the dropdown menu to filter by order stage.

Product – Use the adjacent dropdown menu to filter by product type.
- Yard – Use the dropdown menu to filter by yard if you have multiple
You'll see the order details broken down into each card. Click the card to expand for further details.
3. Totals
The Totals tab provides high-level analytics for:

Daily
-
Weekly
-
Monthly
-
Annual performance
You’ll see:

Total jobs completed
-
Total billed hours (or equivalent measure)
-
Percentage changes compared to the same period previously
Below the top metrics is the Deep Dive section, featuring graphs such as:

Cumulative volume per year
-
Month-to-month comparisons
-
Weekly volume trends
If your business offers multiple services (e.g., volumetric concrete and concrete pumping), use the toggle in the top-right corner to switch views.
4. Future
The Future tab gives you forward-looking analytics for the next 6 days, including:

Jobs scheduled
-
Total billed hours (or equivalent measure)
-
Percentage changes compared to the previous period
As with the Totals tab, you can switch between different services in the top-right corner.
Reminder: In all tabs, the displayed unit (hours, yards, m³, tons) will depend on your business setup.
