How to Set and Manage Product Pricing in Your Dashboard

Assign default prices, configure price groups, and update product and option pricing across locations.

Your dashboard makes it easy to manage product pricing for each location. Whether you’re setting default prices, configuring pricing for options, or creating price groups for specific customers, the steps below guide you through everything you need to ensure products appear correctly and orders are charged accurately.

To access your product pricing:

  1. Click Settings in the left-hand panel.

  2. Select Locations.

  3. Choose the location you want to update.

    • If you’d like to edit/add pricing to all locations later, you can do this after creation.

  4. Click Edit in the top right corner.

Setting a Price for Products

To set or update pricing, select the category under the Prices section. You’ll see:

  • A list of all products, displayed alphabetically (you might need to scroll down to find your new product)

  • Price boxes

  • A search bar to locate products

Enter the price next to the product name, then select the charging method using the drop-down box next to the price:

  • Per Quantity – Charge based on total quantity ordered (e.g., per yard)

  • Per Load – Charge a flat price per load/truck regardless of quantity

  • Fixed – Charge one flat rate not tied to quantity

  • Per Quantity + Formula, Per Load + Formula, Fixed + Formula – Each of the standard pricing methods (Per Quantity, Per Load, Fixed) can also be configured with a custom formula. This allows the price to be calculated automatically based on quantity, number of loads, or the total invoice, according to your company’s specific rules. Custom formulas are usually set up for individual businesses and may not be relevant for general users. Contact the customer support team for more information.

A green checkmark beside a product means it is active and can be used when placing orders. Untick it to make the product unavailable.

Setting a Price for Options

To set pricing for options, click the Options tab in the Prices section and follow the same steps as above.

⚠️ Important: Products will not appear during order creation unless they have a price.

Price Groups (A, B, C, D)

Price groups allow you to set different pricing tiers for your products. This is useful if you want to offer different rates for specific customers, regions, or order types.

  1. Click A, B, C, or D at the top right of the Prices page to enable a group.

  2. The selected group will be highlighted in green.

  3. An additional price field will appear directly under the default price, labeled with the price group name (e.g., “Price Group A”). Enter the price you want for that group.

Example:

  • Default price: $100 per cubic yard

  • Price Group A: $95 per cubic yard (for VIP customers)

Your default pricing is separate from these groups. Products must have a default price set to appear in orders, but enabling a price group allows you to override that price for specific groups without affecting the default.

Enabling Price Groups for Customers

Price groups can be applied to individual customers. To do this:

  1. Go to Customer > Select Customer.

  2. Click the Price Group tab.

  3. Select the appropriate price group for that customer for the locations. All orders for this customer will now use the selected price group pricing.

    1. Remember: N/A is the default (standard) price group.

Top tip: You can enable multiple price groups at once if you have different rates for different customer segments. Each group gets its own dedicated price field labeled with the group name.
