Update the delivery address and location details for an order in just a few clicks.
If the job site or delivery location changes, you can easily update the address right from the order page.
- Go to the Orders page in the dashboard.
- Find and select the order you want to update.
- Click the order number to open the full order details.
- Scroll down to the Delivery section and click on the address under Shipping Info.
- Enter the new address in the address field.
- You can double-click on the map to drop a pin—this will automatically populate the address field.
- You can also tick the "Manual" box to enter a custom address—especially helpful if Google Maps can’t locate the job site. The system will still retain the original latitude and longitude to guide the operator, but whatever you type in the manual field will appear on the order and the invoice.
- Select a different Project from the dropdown if the new address is associated with another project.Enter the new address directly into the field.
- If the new location affects fees (e.g. distance-based charges), make sure “Recalculate Fee” is checked so the system can update the order totals accordingly.
- Click “Save / Without Notify” to save your changes without notifying the contractor. If you'd like to notify the contractor of the address update, click the arrow next to the Save button and choose “Save / Notify.” Then click the button to confirm.
Tip: Need to update just the job location? You can click the address in the order preview to quickly edit the address without opening the full order.
