How to Create and Edit a Location in the Dashboard

In this article we illustrate the steps required to add a new location from the dashboard

You can have more than one location in your dashboard. Each location can have its own delivery radius, hours, contact info, and regional settings. This guide will walk you through how to create a new location and how to edit an existing one.

Creating a New Location

  1. Click Settings and then Locations in the left hand panel.

  2. On the Locations page, select the Add New Yard button in the top right corner

  3. Enter Location Details

    • Name: Enter the internal name for the location in the Name field. This is for internal use only.

    • Color Identifier: Click the color circle to assign a color to this location for easier visibility in the system.

    • Display Name: Enter the public name for the location — this is what customers will see.

    • Optionally, fill in the description, email, and phone number fields.

  4. Specify Region

    • Begin typing in the Region field to search for an existing region.

    • To add a new one, click the plus (+) button.

  5. Adjust Delivery Radius
    Set the delivery radius, which is the maximum distance from the location that your business will deliver to.

  6. Set Open Hours
    Define open and close times for each day of the week to reflect when the location is operational.

  7. Set Delivery Address

    • Drag the map marker to the correct location and double-click to confirm,

    • Or type the full address directly into the address field.

  8. Save Location
    Once all required fields are complete, click Next to save your new location.

Editing an Existing Location

  1. Go to the Settings and then Locations in the left-hand panel.

  2. Click on the name of the location you’d like to update.

  3. Make the necessary changes to any of the location details.

  4. Click the Next button at the bottom of the page to apply your updates.
